Good question... @_@; I always use .jpg for layouts. I never even consider using .gif formats for layouts ^^; If you want it high quality, then saving it as a .gif will actually result in a larger file size than if you saved it as a .jpg ^^; .gifs are usually only good for buttons and avatars... and other small files ^^;

I'm not sure how others save their files, but I save them as .jpg ^^;

New featured member ^-^; Currently, the image doesn ot show because my site, http://moon-wave.net, is down... and I upload the featured member's userpage screenshot onto it... So, until it comes back up, the screenshot/preview of our featured member's userpage will not show... ;

There are 16 people on the recently updated userpage list @_@; It's almost intimidating me to update.... except... I'm too lazy =P I guess I'll just wait for when I'm in my mood

Wow! @_@; Look at how many people updated their userpages! This is a record! Well, partly because there was a period when no one could update even if they wanted to. I guess that's the main reason?

We have a few new members, too Just look on the member list to the left, 'cause that arranges it in the order of join date (descending).

Yay! ^_^ Sheqel's awesome! First, he fixed the bugs concerning the slice issue.... and second, he fixed this group so that it now displays the most popular submissions and most recent threads of our members. And because of that, this group's level skyrocked to 90. It used to be at level 5 (solely earned from the amount of pageviews and guestbook entries) ^^;

Since so many people updated their userpages, I updated the main page of Express as well. During the time when no one could edit their userpages, this group kinda went on a mini hiatus ^^;

So, Express members, please check back often and visit the other members' updated userpages. It's very easy to get feedback for gallery items, so we must promote layout feedback ^-^;

Yeah... unfortunately, there have been some problems with updating the userpage... ; All we can do is hope for it to be fixed shortly.

Regarding the MT contest... I really should participate ; but I'm lacking inspiration for a Christmas layout... And I recently just made another layout for my site (http://moon-wave.net is the URL if anyone's interested). So gah... =__=; I really don't have an idea for a MT type of layout... That's the bottom line. Who knows, I might throw a layout up at the last moment.... But right now, all I can say is good luck to all those who participated ^-^;

Sheqel just announced a Christmas userpage contest! Well... anyone else interested in entering? I think I might do it... It sounds fun! Plus... as Express' admin, I can't exactly enter the contests that Express will hold in the future ;

Wai ; I feel pressured to make someone a mod now ; It's just that when it comes to managing the group, it's easier for me to do it myself. I think group mods just approve aspiring group members... and/or delete people. And every time a member is added/deleted, I have to manually customize the main page � more specifically, the list of members. With someone "helping" will actually make it more complicated and confusing for me ;

But when this group holds a contest, exentric-kun will definitely be a judge... unless if he wants to participate, too ^^;
